We were pleased to find recently refurbished and spotlessly clean rooms at this low-budget hotel. The staff was very nice and courteous all the time. Enjoyed our rooms with the extras. The venue's position was nice, in a nice neighborhood.

Awesome place with free Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, and a fitness center. The staff really helped my elderly parents during our first stay. I highly recommend it for a city trip!

The nearby Clive Aquatic Center provided fun for the kids, while the clean, quiet room was a blissful retreat after long days. Staff offered great local tips that enhanced our visit.

My children wanted more kid-friendly snacks available.

The recently updated decor, and the location offered easy accessibility with convenient parking, a great relief for me as a senior traveler.

Improved cleanliness in common areas would be appreciated.

The place is super easy to get off and on the highway. My room was just okay-found an old shampoo bottle in the shower! Evening staff was awesome, made me laugh after a long drive. Breakfast was a letdown, though-no knives or jelly, and the morning person had trouble with English. Cleanliness could be better, too.

The comfortable queen room provided a cozy retreat after long travels. Easy access to nearby dining options added to the convenience.

wifi was unreliable and slow.

Unfortunately, I found the overall condition of the hotel lacking. Room 119 had no smoke detector, missing knobs on the A/C, and a clock that was not plugged in. The fabric chairs were stained and dirty, with dusty lamp shades adjacent to drapes that had a large hole. Common areas could use more attention, with unpleasant odors lingering as well.

The room felt a bit outdated but was overall clean and had a comfortable bed. The decor was kinda worn out, and I noticed some dusty areas that could use attention. I appreciated the warm earth tones that added a cozy vibe. There was easy accessibility from the parking, nice after a long drive. Breakfast was decent but not too extensive. Everything worked fine, though nothing stood out as really good.

Comfy spot for a night or two

I had a corner room with a great view, super clean, and the staff were always around making sure we had what we needed. Also the A/C worked like a charm, kept me cool in the heat, very much appreciated.

It wasn't exactly cheap but it was acceptable for what I got.

The room was spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was conveniently located near restaurants. A nice experience 😊

A spontaneous late-night stop revealed many issues. The outdated furniture and permanently stained bathroom created a questionable ambiance. The carpet felt unclean. The bed was uncomfortable, akin to a slab of concrete, leading to a terrible night's sleep. I inquired about changing rooms, yet none were available despite the emptiness of the parking lot. The next day, we were exhausted and had to stop early in our journey due to lack of sleep.

This place has newly renovated rooms with great amenities, located in a peaceful area close to restaurants, Des Moines, and California.
